2013
It started with bread
A small group of believers in Bacolod began handing out bread to hungry children. God had a bigger plan.
2015
The feeding program takes root
Weekly meals become daily meals, paired with Bible stories, songs, and mentors who show up consistently.
2017
First scholars enrolled
The first cohort of children receive transportation, supplies, and mentoring so they can stay in school.
2019
Blessing Communities launches
Thousands of pairs of shoes, clothing, mosquito nets, and bedding distributed across Bacolod neighborhoods.
2021
Disaster response
Scholars and volunteers mobilize relief goods for families hit by typhoons and flooding in Negros Occidental.
2023
First scholars graduate
Children once at risk of abuse, addiction, and street life become school leaders and community contributors.
2024
Celebrating 11 years
Fishes & Loaves marks more than a decade of serving hundreds of children and families with wholistic care.
